Architectural Design for a Single Storey and Two Storey Extension
Two Storey and Single Storey Extension in Lincolnshire
The Project
Typically this house style is very popular in South Lincolnshire, and was the staple of local house-builders in the early 1980’s .. but we’re now all looking to transform and personalise our homes to make them our own.
Sometimes when moving isn’t an option as you love where you live, its very popular to give your home a full makeover inside and out, to adapt your home for your current lifestyle.
Our clients are doing just that! Austin John Architectural Design team have worked with this wonderful family to extend and transform their house into a modern family home, with a large kitchen extension and master bedroom suite over.

Architectural Design for Planning Permission
Our clients brief was to re-design their home to incorporate a large working kitchen, opening into a dining area and to include a ground floor gym, two home offices and an additional bedroom.
When preparing any architectural design, or interior design, we not only consider your brief, but we listen and work with you to understand your family’s lifestyle as well as bearing in mind structural and planning elements.
We consider the impact on any neighbours and endeavour to offer a design which has little bearing on any neighbouring property.
Our clients Architectural Design really does make the most of the property’s space for them, incorporating the tow offices, gym and large kitchen on the ground floor, while above on the two storey extension, the master suite incorporates two separate dressing rooms, another home office and the children’s rooms will benefit from a full makeover too!
Exterior Design
There are various applications to transform your home if you want to cover the existing brickwork from modern, colour inherent renders to cladding / sidings.
Our clients Architectural Design incorporated both and an option for just render, which were prepared on our 3D imagery to enable them to make a decision prior to submitting a planning application.

Interior Design
Our clients wanted a high quality finish to the interior of their home to complement the modern, clean feel the extension and external renovations gave them, so we got to work. We wanted a bold, strong colour scheme to add some drama to the new master suite, and we think we are on track to achieving just that. This dramatic wallpaper is from Romo Designs, and it sits perfectly against the sumptuously silky Zoffany Teal paint, it was a match made in heaven. Our decorating team is working tirelessly to deliver stunning results. We just cannot wait to see how this room develops once the flooring is laid.
