The Project
Our brief was originally for a living room interior design makeover for the family’s lounge, to offer the room a focal point and to offer the family a more modern feel to their living room.
Our Clients had chosen their sofa from a well know high street retailer and instructed us for the interior design scheme to bring the room together. We incorporated a bespoke media unit design within the room as there was not a focal point, but this also offers the family more storage for games and Tech!
Initially we offered two proposals for the interior scheme and it became apparent the family would benefit from a small front extension to open their existing bow window out into a full bay to accommodate an additional chair.

Architectural and Interior Design
From the scale floor plans our clients instructed us to prepare Architectural Designs for Planning Permission.
While in planning, the interior design progressed with the media unit and the rest of the scheme - the overall interior design would not be impacted if planning permission was refused as it was really only increasing the footprint of the lounge by the window area. We were very confident with the architectural design that planning permission would be granted.

The Interior Design Scheme
Having spent time with our clients choosing colour schemes to compliment their sofa choice and their personal taste, our fabulous clients confirmed their final choice and we proceeded to order and schedule for the installations and decoration.

Bespoke Media Unit
Based on our clients preference, we designed and built a bespoke media unit to specification which housed the television, sound bar and all associated boxes were concealed in the cupboards.
For additional interest and a focal point, we introduced an electric fire with flame effect, this is suitable to be built into the bespoke media unit.
With glass display shelves and colour change LED lighting, our clients are delighted with the result and have a completely transformed living space.
