Outline Planning Applications
An outline planning application is an application put forwards to see whether the scale and nature of a proposed development would be acceptable in your local area, without the need to submit a fully detailed set of designs and a full planning application.
Although outline planning is not as detailed as a full planning application, it still needs to include enough for the planners to establish the scale and nature of the proposal. It gives clients the ability to know whether their project is feasible without investing in completed drawings and planning applications.
This type of planning application is more often used when a landowner is looking to sell the land that requires planning permission, in which the costs of a full planning application would be unnecessary.
